Patio Door Handles

Patio door handles for UPVC, timber and commposite patio doors

Replacement patio door handles are available in a few different configurations, and it is important that you choose the correct one for your needs.

Inline patio door handles
Most older styles of patio door – often metal in construction – have a single slide mechanism: sliding across on the horizontal.  Many of these have a simple lever lock and over time these levers can deteriorate.  Both handles and levers are simple to replace, and instructions can be found on our how to page.

Tilt and slide patio door handles
These handles can also be used on patio doors with a tilt and slide mechanism, with the two opening positions being one to tilt backwards from the bottom hinge and one to slide on the vertical to fully open the door.  These mechanisms are often found on newer UPVC patio doors.
